I’m Shahid Khan, a policy adviser, peacebuilder, and advocate for human rights and social justice. I’m delighted to share my work and journey with you here!

I am honoured to have been selected as a Rotary Peace Fellow, an opportunity that will allow me to further my research in digital diplomacy and diaspora engagement at Duke University & the University of North Carolina starting in August 2025. My work focuses on inclusive policymaking, peacebuilding, and human rights, with a strong commitment to fostering social cohesion and empowering marginalized communities.

With a background in politics and international relations, I have worked extensively in government policy, international diplomacy, and social justice initiatives. In my role as Senior Policy Adviser with the Scottish Government, I have led efforts to address racial equality, public health policy, and digital transformation, ensuring that underserved communities have access to opportunities and representation in policymaking.
